Andre Romell Young who is known by his professional name Dr.Dre, is an iconic American hip-hop producer, rapper, and entrepreneur. This Grammy award-winning musician is the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics company. He is also a co-owner of Death Row Records. He won his first Grammy award for Best Rap Solo Performance for ” Let Me Ride” in 1994. Along with this, Dre is also a successful entrepreneur, he and Jimmy Iovine, a music executive, created Beats Electronics which sold various items such as headphones, earphones, and speakers. He launched a music streaming service named Beats Music and in May 2014 he sold his Beats by Dre headphones to Apple for $3 billion.
Before Fame
He moved from Vanguard Junior High School to Roosevelt Junior High School to avoid gang violence. His parents divorced in 1972 and after this, his mother married Warren Griffin and made future rapper Warren G Dre’s stepbrother.

Andre has won seven Grammy Awards. This multi-talented musician flourished his success through collaboration with Mary J.Blige, Jay-Z, and 50 Cent. He made his first appearance as a weapon dealer in the movie Set It Off in 1996.
Family Life
He dated singer Michel’le and had a son named Marcel Young. He later married Nicole Younge in May 1996, but the couple was separated in 2021, after 24 years of marriage. They both share two children a son Truice and a daughter named Truly. Dre has six other children named Curtis, La Tanya Danielle Young, Andre Young Jr., and Porter Sued Dre.
